The Beginning!

On several occasions many people have told me that I should start a blog. I always thought that starting a blog would be pointless just for myself. Things have changed and it is not just myself anymore. Five months ago I met the most amazing man on the face of this planet!!! I know I maybe a little biased, but he is pretty dang amazing. Anyway, I was taking some time for myself. I needed to figure out what I was going to do with my life. When I decided that I was going to start dating again a friend of mine just happened to suggust that I try online dating. I was not meeting anyone special and I had nothing to lose. I signed up for a eharmony account. I told myself that I was going to try it for 3 months. I went on a few dates but nothing promising. I was close to the end of my membership when a guy by the name of Gabe started to communicate with me. We wrote each other for about a month before agreeing to meet. As anyone would be, I was nervous to be going out with a guy that I only talked to through e-mail. To by suprise when we met up at the Gateway and I saw him I knew that this was going to be promising.  We had dinner and got to know each other. It was great. A week later we went on our second date. We went to a movie at the capital with some friends of mine, although he did not hold my hand, nor give me a first kiss like I hoped it was the most fun that I had in a long time. Our third date was the next day in which I took him to lunch for his birthday, we had planned to go to his birthday party that night together. He asked me if it would be ok if he introduced me as his girlfriend. I of course said yes and upon arriving home he finally kissed me. We have spent just about everyday together. The other night when I got off work, we decided to go to the Christmas lights on Temple Square. After looking around for awhile we were in a secluded spot. Gabe got onto one knee pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. I of course said yes!!!! That is right I am getting married. We have chosen May 7th 2011 to be Sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple! We could not be any happier!
